Where to buy anything that didn't feel as though it was ridiculously designed and made with a fat inflated brand name stuck on to the design and on nothing you picked where nothing looked completely like something you saw in one hundred other places. I'd been building out for years and years a running wish-list in my mind, and I’d build up filled out abandoned shopping carts on stores I'd only visit once, then collected everything I possibly could into a note on my phone concerning clothing items that don’t quite exist but really, really ought to be available for purchase online in the ‘first half’ so to speak; (things that look as good in the “first” sense as it does online) items you can actually throw in a clotheswasher for an excessive amount of time and keep from looking stretched out, and pieces designed to accent in patterns so things don’t become too boring to repeat on yourself; All of this resulted in Isabella Mae… The shop itself is pretty minimal - mostly me, with the occasional trusted assistant I might pull into the picture. And much of what goes through will honestly have already been in the store or I would be ready to wear it my ownself, if not already wearing it! - For all purchases here, I more often then not will actually try it on before I release it on the market (if I haven’t picked it off the site previously.
